TSL Vlog #212: Rung time baby

I read an article where artist T-Pain confessed that he went from $40 million to being so broke that he didn’t have enough money to eat at Burger King.

You hear riches to rags stories & think it couldn’t happen to you, but it would if you had no systems built toward your goals.

Think of the goal as the top of a ladder & systems as the rungs on the ladder.

The systems are tiny habits that you “punch & pull” at every day toward achieving your goal.

Systems (rungs) serve 2 purposes.
1) Develop habits & strength on the way up.
2) Catch you from falling all the way down. After losing 70 lbs I noticed I’d creeped 8 back on...the rung caught me from gaining all the weight back. Now I just have to work the system to get the small gains back off.
