Instead of “Will this work?” ask “Why will I fail?”

Before he built his comic studio Tom Bilyeu asked someone well versed in that industry, “Why will I fail?”

For 1 1/2 hours the guy told him why he would fail at building his dream studio.

How different is that?

Instead of hooking up with people who think like you, why not seek out “bubble poppers,” people who burst your bubble and tell you why something may not work.

Think about the times you’ve failed... you probably underestimated or “you didn’t know.”

Did you really not know or did you not want to know? It’s not that others make the ultimate decision for you, but you do listen to their perspective.

Imagine asking questions about failing instead of not asking and ending up a failure. That way if you do take on the job, buy the license, start the business, or move forward with a decision, you know what could be waiting ahead for you.
