Recently I was a guest on Chandler Barron's podcast Sales Paradise and before we started the interview, Barron was telling me about his experiences of buying a vehicle. Out of 100 dealerships that he's shopped with, only 2 were memorable.
When I asked him why, he said, "Because they adjusted and seemed to get me."
Because of Barron's 30+ years in sales, he wasn't falling for any of the old school tactics. He prided himself in making unreasonable offers and his ability to squeeze every dime out of the dealer.
But these 2 dealerships were different. Even though Chandler only wanted to lowest price and had no desire to develop a relationship, how did he develop one with them so much so that price was no longer a primary concern?
