We all wanna belong to something don't we, I mean, it's part of our human DNA, that's just how we're wired. But having only that mindset of belonging could be the very thing that's causing you. Slippage, even self sabotage, cuz belonging's not enough. Let me put it to you a different way. If you were an athlete belongings, just making the team becoming a starter is excelling. It's that above and beyond mentality, you. I mean belonging to a gym that ain't enough that ain't gonna get you the chisel labs that ain't gonna get you the big chest and the big arms. You're not gonna see the results, you're not gonna lose any weight just because you have a gym membership. It's what you do with that gym membership that leads to greater results. Getting the job is belonging. How high you go. That's excelling Too often, we fool ourselves, cuz we say if only I could get there and we look at that as a certain level as if that's the glory land I just want to get there. We look at belonging as the destination. When it's only a part of the process. because belonging is not enough. I think back to an interview I heard with triple H he's the face of, , WWE wrestling . And he said many times, I see all these athletes and they're busting their ass to get this Friday night smack down, they're busting their ass to make WWE, they're busting the ass to get on Monday night raw. He said, but the problem with that is, is they work so hard to just get there. But when they get there, they don't zero it out. They say, oh, I belong here, but they don't dominate. They don't rise up. So they're just a part of the crowd. What you gotta understand is when you get to that belonging part, you gotta shift hats. Now you gotta Excel. Now you gotta dominate. Belonging is like it's like finishing high school. Excelling is getting straight A's and getting that scholarship belonging is showing up excelling is the impact that you make when you show up. It's being the finisher. It's being the starter. Belonging is what you're supposed to do. That's your obligation. Excelling, that's your calling. Where you gotta dig deep, where you gotta hit the reserves while you gotta work while others play dominating while others coast. It's when you come in early, when you stay late doing what has to be done because belonging ain't enough. Thanks for being a part of the sales life for more on the sales life.
